Human-powered flight is the most fun way to travel

We are so excited to have you join us for the wedding. California is beautiful in June, with warm days and cool nights, and there really is no other place more magical than California wine country (lets go to Sonoma, baby!) (edit: besides Chuck E. Cheese). All wedding events will be in the vicinity of Healdsburg, and we encourage you to come early or stay late to explore Northern California.

Dates

The wedding is on June 22 (Saturday). We will have events starting Thursday evening and encourage guests to arrive in Healdsburg by Thursday night (June 20).

Lodging

We’ll be staying at the Hotel Trio, which will be the home base for the wedding. Shuttles to/from the wedding will pick up and drop off there. There are two other hotels in very close walking distance which are also listed below:

• Hotel Trio (map). We have a wedding block here, which is available until the hotel sells out. The rate is $389 for Friday and Saturday nights, $239 for any days before/after the weekend. To join the wedding block, book using the preceding link, but change the dates to June 21 to June 23 (Friday to Sunday). Then email Brooke.Ross@interstatehotels.com and tell her that you’re part of the wedding group and ask to add any additional nights desired.
• Best Western is next door to the Hotel Trio and is also an option ($250+/nt).
• Travel Lodge is another option, also next door ($180+/nt).

Other options include Airbnbs, the Raford Inn, or the Isis Oasis Retreat Center (lodge rooms, hobbit huts), which happens to be in walking distance of the rehearsal dinner.

If you’re not at one of the hotels above, you can drive/Lyft/Uber around or get yourself to the Hotel Trio and shuttle from there.

Flights

Healdsburg is about 90 minutes north of San Francisco Intl Airport (SFO) or Oakland Airport (OAK). We recommend flying into one of those two airports and driving up. From either airport, you can rent a car and drive to Healdsburg (try to avoid rush hour). We’ll send out a spreadsheet to help coordinate carpooling for everyone interested.

If you are not interested in renting a car and driving, there are two other travel options to consider:

• Fly to the Santa Rosa airport (STS) and take a 10 minute drive to Healdsburg. Flights are limited due to the small size of the airport but it is a great option especially if you are on the west coast. Airport has easy access to rental cars or Uber/Lyft.
• There are shuttles that take you from SFO or OAK to the STS airport. You can skip bay area traffic on the bus and then Uber/Lyft or rent a car from the STS airport.
  • SFO Shuttle departs at the bottom of the hour 5:30a to 12:30a and costs $38 each way. Trip time is 2 hours and 15min.
  • OAK Shuttle departs every 2 hours between 5:30a and 12:30p. Tickets and trip times are the same as from SFO.
